Tidelands Hospice Community Events

We invite you to attend, participate and spread the word of Tidelands Community Hospice events. Events range from educational, community events to fundraising. Tidelands Community Hospice Foundation is a not-for-profit 501© (3) organization. Donations are tax deductible. Because we are locally based and governed, donations go to work at once meeting the needs of those we serve and remain in the community.

Proceeds from fundraisers and charitable donations benefit our patients, families and all adults and children in the community who are grieving. As NO ONE in need of hospice care is turned away, charitable donations ensures care, beyond the traditional hospice role, is available to ALL. We AID patients and families with basic daily necessities, as well as certain supplies and situations that go beyond daily needs which are NOT covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance. Donations assist in filling in the “gaps” not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance. Though Bereavement Support and Volunteer services are required components of hospice care, they are also not covered. Our Bereavement Support Services are available to ALL adults and children who are grieving, not just our hospice families.

Your Sponsorship makes an immediate impact on the lives of our patients, families and those in the community who are grieving. Because we are the ONLY locally based and governed not-for profit hospice provider serving Georgetown, Horry and Williamsburg Counties, your Sponsorship donation goes to work at once to help those we serve-your family, friends. Celebrating the Holidays…You Are Invited

This year, thorough a series of events, we are continuing the tradition of Tidelands Community Hospice Foundation hosting a community celebration for all ages bringing with it the spirit of the holidays. Because we are not-for-profit, NO ONE in need of hospice is turned away. PROCEEDS ensure that care, beyond the traditional hospice role, is provided for ALL, assists in filling in the “gaps” not covered under covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance and benefits ALL adults and children in the community who are grieving.

Sleighin’ the Holidays Celebration

Thursday, November 21st

Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Pawleys Tap House & Grill, 13089 Ocean Hwy, Pawleys Island
Celebrate the start of the holiday season with signature cocktails, beer, wine, delicious hors d'oeuvres, and live & silent auctions. Enjoy music by DJ Brett Gash and try your luck with a wine pull.
Tickets: $50 for singles, $90 for couples. Space is limited, and tickets must be purchased in advance.

Star Light, Star Bright Tribute Trees

Starts: Friday, November 29th
Location: Gazebo at Hammock Shops Village, Hwy 17, Pawleys Island
Throughout the holiday season, illuminated stars honoring loved ones, friends, and pets will light up the Tribute Trees. A $15 donation per star helps support patients, families, and the bereaved in our community.

Proceeds directly benefit Tidelands Community Hospice services. Forms and information must be received by November 18th.

Klaus It’s the Holidays

Date: Saturday, December 7th

Time: Noon – 3:00 PM

Location: Gazebo at Hammock Shops Village, 10880 Ocean Hwy, Pawleys Island

Celebrate the season with family-friendly fun including face painting, a visit from Santa, and rides on Santa’s Train.

Open to the community.​


Celebrations of Joy & Remembrance Programs

Celebration of Joy & Remembrance Programs, part of Tidelands Community Hospice Bereavement Services offer an opportunity to come together celebrate, reflect, honor and light a candle for the lives of loved ones who have touched our lives and are no longer with us. Celebrations of Joy & Remembrance Programs are OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY and will be held Tuesday, December 3rd and Wednesday, December 11th .


Celebration of Joy & Remembrance

Date: Tuesday, December 3rd

Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Program at 5:00 PM)

Location: Gazebo at Hammock Shops Village, Pawleys Island

Attendees can light a candle, and the names on the Tribute Trees will be read. Enjoy local entertainment and refreshments.
